4.    Article Concerns: Resurrecting immigration reform
5.    Affects on families/individuals: This will highly affect families and individuals who have already made a home in our country. This will also affect citizens who employ illegal immigrants for cheap labor.

6.    My concerns: I do agree with Filemon Vela about needing to beef up security on our boarders and also instating new policies for immigrants to obtain citizenship. Specifically I think that we need to beef up boarder control around Texas being that 1.7 million immigrants were in the state of Texas in 2011. I think that better border patrol needs to be put into place first before the laws of citizenship. Once we have slowed down immigrants getting across then we can implement new policies regarding them getting citizenship. Because of everything going on right now immigration reform has been swept under the rug. I think that immigration is important and needs to be delt with.
