5. Physical fitness can play a big role in the success of a child in the class room. Physical fitness stimulates the brain and helps children retain knowledge better.

6.I completely agree that physical education will lead to more successful students in the class room. There are numerous studies that have been done that display the positive correlation between physical activity and academic success.  I feel all schools up to the high school level should incorporate some type of physical activity for students to take part in during the day. Just like adults students need breaks completely separate from the daily academic task to relive the brain of stress. It also gives students a chance to release stored energy from sitting in a desk all day at school. I also feel it would reduce the amount of aggression and bullying in the school system as well. There are many benefits to physical fitness being included in the school day and I honestly feel it should be an enacted policy on behalf of the government. However, it will take an extra effort on behalf of the parents to encourage their children to be physically active within the school setting and at home.  Some parents tend to argue that the physical activity in the middle day interferes with their child’s ability to learn, but according to the study referenced in this article that is simply not the case. Despite students learning preference (auditory, kinesthetic, visual) all the children involved in this study displayed better results on cognitive testing when physical fitness was included in their daily routine. This aspect of the education should really be taken into to consideration because the results cannot be denied.
