4. The article concerns: My Baby and Me Maternity Home is in the nonprofit business to help out teen moms when they have no where to go and getting funding to build a place for those mothers to stay.
5. Why is this important to individuals/families OR how does it affect individuals/families?
       --A place like My Baby and Me Maternity Home is important to individuals who are in a teen mom situation to help them get on their feet and have a place to lay their head at night. This will affect future families and start them off on the right foot.
6. What are your views on the issue/problem?
       --Teen moms have a lot to deal with already. Being children, still, themselves, they now have to learn to take care of a growing baby. I can only assume that this would be a time you would need a support system that can help you answer all of the millions of questions that would be going through any soon to be mother’s head. Some teen moms are not as lucky as others. Some have supportive loving families that will help them through hard times. Other families however will not be as supportive and will leave the teen mom alone and scared. I would see how parents in those families could think, "you got yourself into this mess and you can figure it out yourself". Most times in situations with teen moms that is not the case. My Baby and Me Maternity is giving teen moms of Bastrop County and others the ability to have a support system. "The home will be set up to provide parenting classes, educational support, homemaking classes (cooking, housekeeping), relationship and personal counseling and physical health checkups." They will be giving them access to information that they will desperately need that their own family will not provide.

Nonprofit organizations like My Baby and Me are gifts to the community. They do good for people who really need the help and better the community. Teen moms already have a very long and hard road ahead of them. My Baby and Me is one step closer for teen moms to have a better life.
