6. I saw a reporter ask David Dewhurst why he thinks President Obama
should be impeached, and he basically just danced around the question and
walked away as quickly as possible. It is ridiculous what some politicians will
say to try to get attention and get votes. I’m not sure what people in other
states have to hear when it comes time for politicians to hunt out votes, but I
have to wonder where Texas ranks on the list of “Holy crap, did he/she just say
that?” Yet somehow, they just really seem to speak to the hearts of many of the
people here. Pick on gay people, tell people what is best for them, thank Jesus,
and wrap it all up by saying Democrats suck, while completely dodging any real
issues. Welcome to Texas politics.
