Concerning: an individual fired and then offered his job back
This is important because a man lost his job and then when they got bad publicity they offered his job back
My Views: I think that I would have done the same thing. The company made such a big deal that he broke their policy and went as far as firing him but when they receive bad publicity they offer his job back. They were wrong for what they did. If it violated their policy and they cared so much about their policy then they would stick behind it not matter what. All he was trying to do was help someone that was in danger and that costed him his job. As for them offering his job back, I don't blame him one bit for not taking it and accepting another one elsewhere. That shows that they care about their company not the people that MAKE their company. I also believe that there would be retaliation (even thought they said it's against company policy) against him because he was offered his job back. They would nit pick and everything and find something else to fire him for. I am glad that he has received other offers. honestly, walmart lost a employee that was valuable to them. I hope they learn from this incident.
