How: The gun range being close to residential areas, frightens the families and individuals living close by.

My Views: I think that the gun range has to be placed somewhere, its going to be close to some residential area no matter where you place it. It is just a difference if it is yours or some one else's. I think a gun range is a very important place to have for gun owners and those that are not. They teach you about gun control and are even offering classes about safety of guns. Anyone who legally owns a gun in the state of Texas has had a background check and is permitted to have one. So with people having one they are going to want to shoot it as well. It is not always deer or dove season and not all guns can be used anywhere. A gun range lets gun owners practice using their guns for when they need to use them and are threatened. If I wanted to become a gun owner you best believe i will be going to a gun range to practice using it and learn the rights to having one. If that is what this gun range is offering i think its a swell idea and residents around should not worry it is a controlled place with an officer there at all times.
