2. Immigration policy reform and current problem with 11 million undocumented people living in the United States at this current time.

3. National Level

4. A potential Policy that is being considered to help solve a problem or is that families/individuals face.

5. The problem with  immigration is ready to be tackled on Capitol Hill. However, the Republican party has a strong untied front on the subject. The democratic party is willing to work an new deals but the feel there is a need to address the already 11milion undocumented people already living in America.

First of all, I would like to start off by saying that the extreme ideals on immigration here in America is humorous to say the least. Many conservatives/tea party republicans, are strongly against anything that does not strengthen our border security and say “they want to protect what America stands for”. However, the very foundation of America was founded upon immigration. Most immigrants come here in search of salvation just as the ones who founded this land. So the Fact that they say they want to protect what America stands for should really take another history class before advocating so strongly. Anyway, I do not agree with their reasoning for standing so firmly but, I do agree that the immigration policy needs to be revised. I also agree with the thought that people already living in the United States should have the means of getting a visa be more convenient. Some people who moved to the United States illegally have had families and worked jobs for many years doing the task that many born United States citizens do not want not do themselves. Undocumented immigrants contribute a lot to America’s work force they typically do the dirty work that other people simply are not willing to do. Aside from all the technicalities, I feel if you’re over here now and did not get caught when you crossed over, then hey you got lucky we cannot punish you for getting passed our boarders. However, to stop this reoccurring problem I do agree that our boarder security should be stronger if this is such a major issue. Instead of delaying the process any further the House and Senate should do what they are elected to do and come up with some type of agreement, because the longer they take the problem will only continue to grow.
