US vs Europe Round 3

1. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/26/world/europe/fallout-over-american-spying-revelations.html?_r=0

2. France and Germany are addressing the United States because of N.S.A spying on their government officials.

3. national level

4. A  potential problem that families/individuals face

5. There are reports of the N.S.A. monitoring phone calls of the Angela Merekel, the chancellor of Germany. This type of action has been really damaged the relationship with the United States and Europe.

6.
The N.S.A. is at it again first it was Mexico and Brazil, now it France and Germany. As mentioned in the article the relationship with Europe has been damaged greatly by this. Germany is even considering to end all trade with the United States because of this unjust act. America is starting to get on the bad side of a lot of countries which does not pan good for us. I feel the simply that the N.S.A. should be punished for their continued unsanctioned actions against other countries. If this continues we are soon going to be turning neutral or resolved countries into new enemies or enemies once again. The European nations are taking this as a stab in the back which they very much should. However France and Germany are not the only ones taking action it is being considered by many European nations to get up to date to with electronic communications in order to ensure they run a low risk of being monitored by the United States. We have simply lost their trust and do not blame them. I find it funny that N.S.A. contractors try to place the blame on Eric Snowden for simply exploiting the truth of behind what the N.S.A was doing. They say Snowden and the newspapers are aiding those who wish to do us harm. True Germany and France and not allies, but they are not attempting to commit harm to the United States if not previously they have much more of a reason to. I feel America really has stuck their foot in their mouth about this one. Thee needs to be some strict regulations and penalties enforced against the N.S.A. because as of right now they have not been preventing problems they are only creating them.
