3    3.  Level of problem: State
    4. The article concerns: How the shutdown is affecting veterans because the process of them getting help from the government.
5    5. Why is this important to families/individuals OR how does it affect individuals/families?
It is important for families because if you have a family member who is veteran and need the government assistant they can’t get it due to the government shutdown.
6    6.  What are your views on the issue/policy?
It is sad how the shutdown is affected so many people and things. As human it is hard enough to ask for help so if you are going to do that just to find out that you can’t get the help you need because the government can’t decision so the budget. So as a result of that you will not be help enough you need it. You have people who will their country that they are willing to put their live in danger in order for everybody else to be safe just to come back to the country that he or she love. Needing their help just to be turn down because our leaders are acting like child and don’t really seem to compromise for the sake of the people that elected them there. As government they need to look into this and do what is right for our veterans because not everyone is willing to risk their live for their country no matter what. What if these veterans can’t get a work because they don’t have experience or don’t have a degree? How the government expects them to come back to states and don’t get financial support. What if their families depend on them to support for them? Or they got injured while serving their country and they need the government to provide for them and also medical need because it is expense for something with disability to make it. The government need to do something for our veterans sooner than later.
