4. This article concerns: Woman fired for not altering her investigation.
5. This is important because we expect people to do the right thing. Now when someone is punished for doing the right thing that is when it becomes an issue.
6. a woman lost her job for doing the right thing. She was honest and was punished for it. After she refused to change her findings she was fired 3 days after. The world we live in is corrupt. Individuals try to do the right thing and still end up punished. I believe that this makes people think that it is okay to do wrong because if you do the right thing you will be punished. I believe that it is wrong for them to terminate her because she was actually doing her job. If the bank was scared of what might happen because of her findings they should have been working to improve it not fire her and jeopardize their company and employees. "The firing caused her career in banking to be "irreparably damaged," says her lawsuit, which seeks her reinstatement to her position as senior bank examiner, back pay, compensation for lost benefits, compensatory damages, attorney's fees and other expenses." I believe they owe her every penny that she is filing for. They had no right to do what they did.
I agree with you MarandaH2010 why should she get fired because she doesn’t want to do the wrong thing. What type of world do we live in that if you choose to do the right thing instead of getting rewarded for it. You get punished for it. I am glad that she chose to do the right thing rather than doing the wrong it. Just because the company doesn’t like that the truth or the right thing they chose to fired her because she will not lied and do the wrong thing that they want her to do. What are these companies trying to tell us? That if you have money and power you can do anything that you want and forget everybody who is not rich and powerful? Also if you are rich and powerful that doesn’t matter the people you will have to step on while on top. What they are teaching their kids and children that if you are rich and powerful you can do whatever you and screw whoever trying to stop you. “A spokesman for the New York Fed declined to comment on the specifics of the lawsuit but said its personnel decisions "are based exclusively on individual job performance and are subject to thorough review."’ Just because to stick with that is right now she performance was been questioning because she chose to do the right thing by not doing the wrong thing that the company wants, she fired. To me, that is crazy as people we need to go to what is morally right and doing that. I guess if she won’t have lied about her report she will be getting some type of reward not punishing for doing the right it. How come the company all of a certain wants to question her performance after she chose to do the right now by reporting what is truth and not lie about her report so the company will look good. This company need to do what is right and best for the people not just doing whatever it is just for the benefit and the money. So it is wrong to do the right thing but is it okay to do the wrong thing. I hope this woman win her case if she is telling the truth. If she wins her case it will show people that with regardless of what position you are in. It is not right to do wrong to people because they will rather do the honest it which any hurt you. But with regardless the truth is always more important than a lie.
