New Abortion Regulations
2.      Category* of Problem/Issue: Health/medical
3.      Level of problem/issue: State level
4.      This article is concerning a new bill signed by Governor Rick Perry that authorizes regulations that will close many abortion clinics in Texas.

5.   This new regulations affect specifically women’s that don’t have easy access to an abortion clinic. Mostly women are who live in rural areas. These regulations also improve women’s safety in many ways because it gives the abortion clinics some guidelines required to follow concerning the better treat in the process for women’s who decide to have an abortion.

6.   From my point of view these new regulations are good for some reasons and also bad for some other different reasons. I am a person who personally thinks abortion is not always the best option since we must advocate for life at all times. In spite of my thinking morally I also understand that everyone is owner of his own body and that many women have many extreme reasons why they decide to take the decision of abortion. There are many reasons why a woman may elect an abortion as their only choice some of them may be no money to keep the baby, an illness, family reasons, rape, and many others. Whatever the reason abortion is a decision that corresponds only to the woman who is going through an unwanted pregnancy. These new regulations will help keep more abortion clinics inspected by the Government to ensure they are safe and that they interest for the health of the patient. Having access to a minimum hospital 30 miles away is an excellent regulation if the abortion complicate for any reason. Also the prohibition on the abortion after 20 weeks is a way to keep the responsibility of mothers who will decide whether or not to have an abortion before the fetus is more developed. One of the only disadvantages caused by this new law is that many women in Texas who live in rural areas will lack easy access to abortion clinics causing an issue for many women’s in the state.
