Seems like Snowden was telling the truth!

4. A problem that individuals/families face

5. This affects individuals/families in the sense that any private information sent over the Internet can be seen by NSA. The problem that results form this is the invasion of privacy on the behalf of the government.

6.This information plays right into what Snowden tried to warn the public about. The United States is already dealing with the consequence in this step of unlawful invasion of privacy. Mexico and Brazil have already requested to meet with the United States in regards to the unlawful spying and have refused to take this situation lightly. This so called “security protection” is already stirring up international trouble. This also gives the government to ability to spy on anyone they choose to do so without the grounds that the person is committing any kind of crime. I feel this violates our right as American citizen to have certain aspects of our lives private. Also just as speculated by big name cryptographers, this type of access runs the risk of not just being available to the United States, but to other countries as well. Another factor that hurts their claim of international security is that the NSA seeks to access personal information of web users. The privacy factor of our lives will be completely eliminated as more companies and our way of living evolves to more into online interactions.  I feel if there is indisputable proof that one intends to harm or is a threat to international security then and only then is this type of action is acceptable, but only to that person under investigation. However, the only problem with that I see is who would make the call that determines one as a threat to international security. I do not see anything positive coming out of this, and I can see why Snowden tried to inform the public.
