How the new affordable healthcare is affecting Americans now

1. affordable healthcare act

2. Category of Problems/ Issue identified in article: Health/Medical

3. Level of Problem/ Issue: National Level

4. The Affordable Health care act is an "enacted" policy that has been passed to help with a problem/ issue that individuals/families face

5. The Affordable Health care Act affects individuals/families because it will provide universal healthcare for everyone in the US.

6.  With the new Affordable Health care Act taking in to affect January 2014, majority of Americans are looking forward to receiving healthcare for the first time in their life. Since insurance will be available for everyone for has a pre-condition, where before they would be declined from the big insurance giants. Letting hospital professional do their job without having to ask the patient if they have insurance to pay for a life saving operation. Doctors and nurses beginning the new year, can start treating the patient fully without the worry of having to decline a patient from an operation that could save their life because the patent's insurance would not cover it. America should have looked at the Canadians to help us with our healthcare system before now. Hopefully, at this point we have a general guidance from the Canadians to help the rest of Americans see that universal healthcare is what us, Americans pride ourselves on... helping our neighbor out when in need.  Its a system that helps a fellow American when in need and vice versus for a small affordable tax for every American.
