2.         Category of problem: More affordable houses in the Austin Area

3.         Level of problem: Local

4.         This article concerns:  An “enacted” policy that has been passed to help with a problem/issue that individuals/families face.

5.         Importance/affect on families/individuals: The importance/affect of on families/individuals this is that for the low income families there will be more affordable house for them to buy/live in around the Austin area.

6.         My input: I am not sure how I feel about this new policy, I think I have mixed feelings. I have mixed feeling because yes, it does help the lower income families in the Austin area but I also think it is going to hurt the middle income families in the Austin area. When I say middle income families, I mean the families that are barely making it. The families that don’t qualify for any kind of help and are living pay check to pay check. I feel that right now the middle level income families need some kind of help too, especially families with young children. Nobody remembers them, only the low income families and most of the time the middle income group is have just as hard as time making ends meet then the low income group and in some case if not a harder time.
