2.         Category of problem: Colorado River rising and could cause more flooding

3.         Level of problem: Local

4.         This article concerns: A problem/issue that individuals/families face

5.         Importance/affect on families/individuals: If the Colorado River counties to raise it could affect all the families/individuals by flooding their homes and by people getting hurt.

6.         My input: The flooding in central Texas has become a big problem over the last couple of days since we have gotten all this heavy rain. I think the people that live by the Colorado River they should start to pack up and prepare for the floods earlier than later. So many people wait till the flooding starts in their area before the start to pack up their things and tried to leave. I believe that so many people wait till the last minute because they think it’s not going to happen to them and then when it does they are not prepared at all and that is how people house flood, their items get damage, and they get hurt. Our weather teams do a very good job about warning us about these floods and people just need to listen to them and especially when they said don’t cross low water crossing because so many people getting hurt by trying to drive across low water crossings.
