2. Housing bonds
3. Local
4. A potential policy that is being considered to help a problem/issue that individuals/families face
5. This measure will provide housing for low-income families and individuals in Austin.
6. I think this measure being passed is a very good thing. I've been hearing a lot of talk lately about Austin turning into the new Dallas because of all the wealth and construction of many surrounding suburbs. Austin saying affordable for all levels of income is a good thing to keep in the city. It hardly raises property taxes at all so taxpayers will not even know the difference. I don't understand why this has been turned down in the past, even a year ago a measure proposed essentially the same thing and it was denied. I'm glad people came to make a big issue of it to get the measure passed and headed in the right direction. It will be an affordable housing opportunity for many Austin residents.
