2. Gay marriage compared to incest

3. state level

4. A problem that individuals and families face

5. The governor of Pennsylvania made harsh comments comparing gay marriage to incest.
The state is aimed at banning gay marriage and does not feel it should be taken to federal court.

6.Regardless of how you feel about someone who is homosexual to make those very harsh offensive comment as a government official is inexcusable. Despite the apology when he made the comment his true feelings were heard and there is nothing he can do to take back what he said. Incest and homosexuality are to complete different aspects of sexuality even though they are both frowned upon by society. With that being said I do not feel it necessary to make outlandish statements as he did. Everyone know that homosexuality is not right by god, however not everyone believes in god nor should it be anyone else’s businesses on what sex decides or doesn’t decide (if you feel homosexuality is a choice) to be with. I still do not understand what people seek to succeed by ostracizing those who are homosexual. Aspects of the bible tend to get thrown around a lot and even though it does say sexuality is a sin, it also states that every sin is of equal merit. So in general if the governor has lied at all throughout the duration of his life he just as guilty as a homosexual male or female. This just really blows my mind how people are when we do not agree with each other’s personal decisions. At the end of the day if two men or two women decide to be married I just do not see who that affects another’s life. I have a homosexual male cousin and it does not bother me in the least bit and nether has his personal choice affected me in anyway because I still like women!
